Firstly, a heartfelt thank you to each one of you for your active participation during Friday's Professional Development session, where we delved into the CA1 Data. I'm thrilled to share these certificates with you, which you are more than welcome to use for your students as you celebrate their achievements—whether it's significant growth, meeting their goals, or even exceeding expectations. The certificates are categorized into three distinct awards:
- Giant Explorer: Recognizing students who have exhibited significant growth from previous exams.
- Giant Goal-Getter: Commending students who have successfully met their academic goals.
- Giant Colossal: Celebrating students who have surpassed their academic goals.
Reflecting on my own experiences in the classroom, one of the most memorable aspects was conducting awards ceremonies to acknowledge and celebrate students for their performance on exams throughout the year. This practice not only recognized their hard work but also fostered a sense of investment in their academic goals, significantly boosting engagement in our daily instruction

Southside Families, Here is a reminder of the dress code regarding polos. All students have received their burgundy polo and should wear them Monday - Thursday. Failure to arrive to campus in this uniform polo will result in a phone call home to bring the correct attire. If that is unable to happen, then students/families are able to purchase a burgundy polo at the front office for $10 or will have to sit in ISS (In-School Suspension) for the remainder of the day. Additionally hoodies and hats are not permitted inside the building. Students will be instructed to remove them. Lastly, no blankets are allow in the building. Students will have to place them in the wagon near the front office.
